Neither fob works for the remote start, nor do they unlock or lock my car. I noticed this about a month or so ago. Mine is located at the left rear of the engine compartment, opposite of the brake fluid reservoir, as you're facing the car. There is a little plastic grill and there should be a black plastic pressure switch there if it has remote start.

The only other thing you can do is look around the front for a disconnected or damaged wire. The sensor i either part of the latch or somewhere where the hood can press it when it's closed.
